Golf4Her and Tee It Up Radio Sign National Radio Sponsorship Deal

PRESS RELEASE

Rockaway, New Jersey, April 27, 2012 – Golf4Her.com, the popular women's golf apparel and accessories retailer announces its new sponsorship agreement with Tee It Up Radio, North America's longest running independent golf and lifestyle radio network.

Over the next 12 months, Golf4Her.com will present the week’s LPGA Tour Report Live on the Tee It Up Radio Network.

“We are thrilled to be the newest member of the Tee It Up family." said Christina Thompson, Owner of Golf4Her. “We are committed to representing the millions of female golfers out there teeing it up every day. One thing's for sure, we want to look our best while playing golf. Teaming up with Tee It Up Radio Network gives us a fun and interactive platform to introduce female golfers to hard to find golf apparel and accessories not available in those big-box retail stores or clubhouse pro shops.” adds Thompson.

Al and Adam Gottfried (father and son duo), creators of the Tee It Up Radio show, are excited about their new partnership with Golf4Her.com. “I love fashion, especially for the golf course and I’ve seen it evolve over the years”, states Adam Gottfried, Founder of Tee It Up Radio Network. “Women in particular have always been disappointed with golf fashion and finally the top designers have brought hip, stylish threads for all to take advantage of and Golf4Her.com is the one place that has it all available – just at your fingertips. My wife and President of this network, Marge Gottfried has been waiting for the right place that offers hip apparel for women especially since great-looking fashions for women are hard to find. Golf4Her.com is exactly what she and other female golfers have been looking for and now we get to share it with our listeners across the US.”

Mallory Blackwelder: A smashing golfer!

{ Golf4Her 2012 Brand Ambassador }
One of our favorite new golf skorts is the Smashing Golf Erika golf skort. Why do we love it? For starters, it's the only golf skort on the market that tones, shapes and slims. Enough said!

During her Pro-Am at the Sara Bay Classic, Mallory Blackwelder pairs the Erika skort with the JoFit Jo Polo in lavender. She holed out for eagle from 125 w/ a 9-iron ... it had to be her 'smashing' outfit and mad golf skills!

Trend Alert: the Golf Fedora

Whether you are LPGA superstars like Vicki Hurst rocking her trademark newsboy cap or Christina Kim sporting one of her funky fedoras, you can't deny the hottest trend in golf fashion is the hat. Unlike other sports, golf is one of the few sports where you can use style to be unique and these ladies do it right . . . and now you can too!

One of our favorite golf hats this season is the classic fedora from Fairway Fox, available in 4 beautiful and vibrant colors.

Each fedora is hand woven with coordinating bow trim. Whether it be a print to match your Fairway Fox attire or a solid grosgrain ribbon, this hat will certainly turn heads on and off the course.

Pink Driver + Green Jacket = Bubba Golf

Ping selling 5,000 all-pink G20 drivers to support Bubba Watson's charity

Posted at 7:59 AM by David Dusek | Categories: 2012 Masters, Bubba Watson, Limited Edition Clubs, Ping

Since Bubba Watson began swinging a pink Ping G20 driver at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in January, Ping has donated $10,000, plus $300 for every 300-plus-yard drive Watson has struck using the club, to the "Bubba & Friends Drive to a Million" initiative. That brings the company's total donation to $61,600. Watson and Ping hope to raise $1 million and give it to Phoenix-area charities chosen by the company with Watson's support.

On Tuesday morning, Ping announced that it will sell 5,000 limited-edition all-pink G20 drivers for $430 in local pro shops starting on June 1. Five percent of the proceeds from the sale of the drivers will go to "Bubba Long in Pink. Driven by Ping," which is the company's portion of "Bubba & Friends Drive to a Million."

"Bubba is already approaching the target of 300 drives of 300 yards or longer, and we wanted a way to provide ongoing support for his generous cause," said John A. Solheim, Ping Golf's chairman and CEO, in a media release. "Even prior to his win at the Masters, golfers were requesting pink G20s. Through word of mouth, social media, and phone calls, the interest was extremely high. We want to satisfy that demand while bringing even more visibility to Bubba's goal of raising $1 million."
In GOLF Magazine's March issue, the G20 was reviewed alongside several other game-improvement drivers. Testers said it was, "One of the top-rated models. A worthy descendant to a long line of great drivers." You can read the complete review here.

The pink G20 drivers will be available in right-handed 9.5°, 10.5°, and 12° models and 10.5° for left-handers. Each will come with a pink headcover and a pink Ping TFC 169D shaft labeled, "Bubba Long in Pink. Driven by Ping." A ladies 12° model will also be available.

Symetra Tour Style Watch: Mallory Blackwelder

( Photo Symetra Tour.com }
This year Mallory Blackwelder has great sponsor support!

Golf4Her, an online golf clothing retailer, will be outfitting Blackwelder with all of the labels that are represented on their website (www.golf4her.com). Blackwelder said about Golf4Her, "I feel like I have the best deal on tour because I get to wear so many different brands that display my personal taste of clothing on the course!"

She will be working with Abigale Lynn, a new fashion-forward accessory label, to create a “Mallory inspired” line of ball markers. These ball markers can be used on a hat clip or on a new accessory, the ball marker bracelet which she will be wearing this season.

She is working with Pukka Headwear to design a custom headwear with her signature “MB” logo. "There are so many different options for hats and I can’t wait to wear all of my unique designs," said Blackwelder.

The newest sponsor is the transportation company SuperShuttle. She is so happy to have their support for this season! You will see the SuperShuttle logo on her golf bag and also be wearing their logo on her shirt. For transportation, especially to and from the airport, SuperShuttle is the way to go!

All of us at Golf4Her wish you a kick-ass season! Go get that card.

24 Laws of Golf

Thanks 'Chuck The Putter' for this funny list of 24 Laws of Golf.  Fairly certain we can add a few to the list!

LAW 1:
No matter how bad your last shot was, you should have Inner Peace knowing that a worse one is yet to come. This LAW does not expire on the 18th hole, since it has the supernatural tendency to extend over the course of a tournament, a summer and, eventually, a lifetime.

LAW 2:
Your best round of golf will be followed almost immediately by your worst round ever. The probability of the latter increases with the number of people you tell about the former.

LAW 3:
Brand new golf balls are water-magnetic. Though this cannot be provenin the lab, it is a known fact that the more expensive the golf ball, the greater its attraction to water. Expensive clubs have been known to be partly made with this most unusual natural alloy.

LAW 4:
Golf balls never bounce off of trees back into play. If one does, the tree is breaking a LAW of the universe and should be cut down.

LAW 5:
The higher a golfer’s handicap, the more qualified he deems himself as an instructor.

LAW 6:
A golfer hitting into your group will always be bigger than anyone in your group. Likewise, a group you accidentally hit into will consist of a football player, a professional wrestler, a convicted murderer and an IRS agent — or some similar combination.

LAW 7:
All 3-woods are demon-possessed. Your Mother in LAW does not come close.

LAW 8:
Golf balls from the same “sleeve” tend to follow one another,
particularly out of bounds or into the water. See LAW 3.

LAW 9:
The last three holes of a round will automatically adjust your score to what it really should be.

LAW 10:
Golf should be given up at least twice per month.

LAW 11:
All vows taken on a golf course shall be valid only until the sunset.

LAW 12:
Since bad shots come in groups of three, your fourth consecutive bad shot is really the beginning of the next group of three.

LAW 13:
If it isn’t broke, try changing your grip.

LAW 14:
 It’s surprisingly easy to hole a 50-foot putt when you’re lying 8.

LAW 15:
Counting on your opponent to inform you when he breaks a rule is like expecting him to make fun of his own haircut.

LAW 16:
Nonchalant putts count the same as chalant putts.

LAW 17:
It’s not a gimme if you’re still 4 feet away.

LAW 18:
The shortest distance between any two points on a golf course is a straight line that passes directly through the center of a very large tree.

LAW 19:
You can hit a 2-acre fairway 10% of the time, and a 2-inch branch 90% of the time.

LAW 20:
Every Time a golfer makes a birdie, he must subsequently make a double or triple bogey to restore the fundamental equilibrium of the universe.

LAW 21:
If you want to hit a 7-iron as far as Tiger Woods does, simply try to use it to lay up just short of a water hazard.

LAW 22:
There are two things you can learn by stopping your back swing at the top and checking the position of your hands: how many hands you have, and which one is wearing the glove.

LAW 23:
A ball you can see in the rough from 50 yards away is not yours.

LAW 24:
Don’t buy a putter until you’ve had a chance to throw it.

Hope you enjoyed this as much as we did. Can you think of any you would add?
