Meet Mallory Blackwelder

{ Click here to view Mallory's video biography on the Golf Channel }
Meet Mallory Blackwelder, LPGA Futures Tour, Golf4Her Ambassador and now a contestant on Golf Channel's Big Break Ireland.

Golf has been in Blackwelder’s blood from the minute she was born. Mallory’s mom is Myra Blackwelder, a 13-year LPGA veteran and her father, Worth Blackwelder, has caddied for many top LPGA players.

Starting September 20, join us every Tuesday night at 9pm (ET) to see if Blackwelder has what it takes to carry on a legacy by winning Golf Channel's Big Break Ireland! You're invited to join us on Facebook after the show for a chance to chat with Mallory live on the Golf4Her fan page during the 10 weeks the season airs.

Her wardrobe for the show was provided by Golf4Her.com. So you know one thing is for sure ... she will be Teeing It Up In Style!

GO MALLORY!!!

Mallory Blackwelder Scores Her First Hole-in-One

{ Mallory Blackwelder - Golf4Her ambassador }
Congratulations to Mallory Blackwelder on scoring her first ACE today! It happened on the 142-yard, par three, 13th hole using her TaylorMade 7-iron during a Pro-Am leading up to the International at Concord, this week's LPGA Futures Tour stop. The event is being held at the popular Beaver Meadow Golf Course in New Hampshire, their oldest public golf course.

"I just made my first ever hole in one!!!!!! Ahhhh! :)", Mallory tweeted to her 2000+ fans moments after she scored her ace.

The odds of a pro golfer making a hole in one is 2500 to 1, the odds for the rest of us is 1 in 12,500.

We're so excited for Mallory. This is going to be a break out year for her. Have to say, she's looking good in her 4all by JoFit outfit, too!

Follow all the action this week on the official website for the International at Concord website,  July 22 - 24, 2011

Ask Mallory: Who's your caddy?

Mallory Blackwelder takes time out during the rain delay at the 2011 US Women's Open to answer questions from Golf4Her fans. The first question is from Kendall: "Who's you caddy and why did you choose him."

Spoiler alter: For those who may not be familiar with Worth Blackwelder, he has been a tour caddy for notables J.B. Holmes, Dottie Pepper, Cristie Kerr, and Natalie Gulbis, as well as Hall of Famers Dave Stockton, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Juli Inkster, Beth Daniel, and Patty Sheehan. Now, he can add his daughter to that impressive list. She is in good hands.
